At our company, all of our jewelry pieces are completely custom-made to ensure that they are unique and tailored to your specific preferences. As a result, we have a standard 3-week lead time for completing your order.
However, we understand that there are occasions when you may need your jewelry sooner than that. In such cases, we offer rush options to expedite the process. To confirm if your ring, necklace, or studs are eligible for the rush options, please reach out to our team at [email protected] prior to placing your order. We will be happy to work with you to ensure that your jewelry is completed within your desired timeframe, without compromising on the quality and craftsmanship that we are known for.
Answer: At our company, we take pride in offering a completely personalized and customized jewelry-making experience. Once we receive your order, our team of experts gets to work right away. Within a week, a design specialist will be in touch with you personally to discuss the steps involved in creating your unique piece of jewelry.
The main steps in our custom jewelry-making process include CAD designing, gem selection, and production. Our design specialists will work closely with you to create a detailed 3D rendering of your piece using CAD software, ensuring that every detail is just as you envisioned it.
Next, we carefully select the perfect gemstones to bring your design to life. Our gemstone experts will help you choose from a wide selection of high-quality diamonds and other precious stones to ensure that your piece is truly one-of-a-kind.
Finally, our skilled craftsmen and women get to work on bringing your design to life using traditional techniques and modern technology. Our production process is overseen by experienced professionals to ensure that every piece of jewelry we create is of the highest quality.
At every step of the process, we strive to provide you with personalized and attentive service, ensuring that your custom jewelry is exactly as you envisioned it.
Because each piece we create is completely custom, the timeframe for each step of the process can vary depending on the specific requirements of your order. However, we strive to keep you informed every step of the way and will provide you with a breakdown of the estimated timeframe for your order in your confirmation email within a week of placing your order.
In general, the CAD design process takes approximately 1 week, during which our design specialists will work closely with you to create a detailed 3D rendering of your piece using CAD software. The production process typically takes another 1 week, during which our skilled craftsmen and women will use traditional techniques and modern technology to bring your design to life.
Please note that due to the custom nature of our work, these timeframes are estimates only and may vary depending on the specific requirements of your order. However, our team is dedicated to keeping you informed every step of the way, and we will do everything we can to ensure that your custom jewelry is completed to the highest standards within a reasonable timeframe.
At our company, we understand that every piece of jewelry we create is completely custom, which is why we want to ensure that you love your finished piece. To achieve this, there are two core elements that we will seek your approval on during the process: the gem and the CAD design.
Our team will communicate with you regularly via email throughout the process, providing you with updates on the progress of your order and seeking your feedback on key elements such as the gemstone selection and the CAD design. We will send you detailed images and descriptions of these elements via email, and you will have the opportunity to provide feedback and make any necessary adjustments before we proceed to the next stage of the process.
Please be sure to add us to your approved contacts to ensure that our emails do not get filtered into your spam folder. We want to ensure that communication with our team is as smooth and efficient as possible, so you can enjoy the process of creating your custom jewelry with confidence.
At our company, we understand that you are excited to see your custom jewelry piece take shape. That’s why we provide multiple ways for you to track the progress of your order and stay up-to-date on its status.

We pride ourselves on providing a transparent and communicative custom jewelry-making experience. By tracking the progress of your order and staying in touch with our team, you can rest assured that your custom piece is being created with care and attention to detail, and that you’ll be the first to know when it’s ready to be shipped to you.
Absolutely! A CAD, or computer aided design, is a 2D rendering of your custom piece of jewelry. Our in-house CAD designer uses advanced software to create a digital model of your piece, which allows you to see exactly how it will look and make any necessary adjustments before production begins. This detailed rendering also provides numerical details on the exact size and gem amount, ensuring that the finished product meets your exact specifications.
The primary difference between 9K, 14K, and 18K gold is the amount of pure gold they contain. 9K gold contains 37.5% pure gold, 14K gold contains 58.3% pure gold, and 18K gold contains 75% pure gold. The remaining percentages in each type of gold are made up of other metals such as silver, copper, and nickel. As a result, 9K gold is the least expensive and the least pure, while 18K gold is the most expensive and the most pure. The higher the gold content, the more yellow and rich the color of the metal will be.
Both white gold and platinum are popular choices for jewelry, but they have some key differences. While platinum is a naturally white metal, white gold is created by mixing pure gold with other metals, such as silver or palladium, to achieve a white color.
White gold is often coated with a thin layer of rhodium to enhance its brightness and shine. However, over time, this coating can wear off and the original yellowish color of gold may begin to show through.
Platinum, on the other hand, is much stronger and more durable than gold, and is also much rarer. In fact, platinum is 30 times rarer than gold, which is reflected in its higher price point. Platinum’s natural white color also does not fade or change over time, making it a popular choice for engagement rings and other fine jewelry.
In summary, while both metals are white in appearance, platinum offers greater durability and rarity, while white gold may require maintenance over time to maintain its white color.
Pure gold is a very soft metal, which means that it can easily scratch, bend or wear down with everyday wear. To ensure the durability and longevity of your jewelry, we use 18k gold instead.
18k gold contains a smaller percentage of other alloys, such as copper and silver, which gives it greater strength and durability compared to pure gold. The additional metals also give the gold a wider range of colors and finishes, allowing for more variety in our jewelry designs.
By using 18k gold, we are able to create high-quality jewelry pieces that are designed to last a lifetime, while maintaining the beautiful appearance and shine of gold.
We offer a range of metal choices to suit your personal style and preferences. Our options include 18k white gold, 18k rose gold, and 18k yellow gold.
In addition to these options, we also offer two-toned pieces where the head of the piece is made with a different metal than the band. This provides a unique and customized look to your jewelry, allowing you to create a piece that is truly one-of-a-kind.
No matter what metal you choose, our skilled craftsmen and women will ensure that your jewelry is made with the highest quality materials and craftsmanship to create a beautiful and lasting piece that you can treasure for years to come.
A two-tone setting is a style of jewelry design where the head of the piece, which includes everything except the band, is made from one color of gold while the shank, or band, is made from another color of gold. This creates a unique and eye-catching look for your jewelry.
It’s important to note that for chemical compatibility, only 18k gold can be paired with other 18k golds. At our company, we typically suggest the “head” of the piece be made in 18k white gold and the “band” in rose or 18k yellow gold. This creates a beautiful contrast that enhances the overall design.
In some cases, such as when using fancy colored stones, we may switch the combination to highlight the center stone. For example, we may use rose or 18k yellow gold for the “head” and 18k white gold for the “band” to create a stunning accent that showcases the stone.
At our company, we specialize in creating unique and customized jewelry designs that reflect your personal style and preferences. Our expert craftsmen and women will work with you to create a one-of-a-kind piece that you will cherish for years to come.

At YSJEC CO., we stand behind the quality of our jewelry and offer a one-year inclusive warranty with every purchase. During this period, we’ll cover any repairs needed, free of charge, unless the damage is deemed purposeful or excessive. After the first year, we’ll still offer repairs at our cost, without any additional fees. Please note that your warranty starts on the day you receive the piece.
To ensure the highest quality of service, we advise against having any work done on your YSJEC CO. piece by an outside jeweler. Doing so will result in a voided warranty, as we cannot guarantee the work of others, and most jewelers are not specialized in our jewelry. If you have any questions or concerns about your warranty, please don’t hesitate to contact our after-sales service team.
At YSJEC CO., we create every piece of jewelry from scratch, tailored specifically to your preferences. As a result, we do not offer returns or exchanges on custom pieces. Before we begin production, we have a strict approval process for both your stone and CAD design to ensure you’re completely satisfied with your piece.
If you’re interested in an in-stock sample, we do offer the option to return or exchange within three days of purchase, with a 20% restocking fee, as long as the item is unworn. If you have any questions about our return or exchange policies, please don’t hesitate to contact our after-sales service team.
At YSJEC CO., we take pride in collaborating with our clients to create the perfect piece of jewelry. We confirm all details with you during the design process and again before placing your order to ensure accuracy. Once your order is placed, we begin working on it immediately to ensure timely completion with our hyper-custom process.
If you need to make changes to your order after it’s been placed, please email our team at [email protected] as soon as possible to see if we’re able to accommodate your request. Please note that changes may be subject to additional lead times and change fees. While we’ll do our best to make any necessary changes, we cannot guarantee that all changes can be made. If you have any questions or concerns about your order, please don’t hesitate to contact our after-sales service team.
At YSJEC CO., we believe in being transparent with our clients when it comes to jewelry damage. There are two main types of damage:
Incidental Wear and Tear: This refers to minor damage that can occur over time, such as scratches and dents in metal, stone chips, missing pavé stones, loose prongs, rhodium fading, head tilting, and minor band reshaping.
Purposeful or Excessive Damage: This refers to major damage that can occur due to improper care, such as severely misshapen bands, severed bands or heads, broken prongs, or damage that would require a full setting recast.
To ensure the longevity of your jewelry, our team recommends avoiding wearing your piece while sleeping, working out, showering, or participating in water activities, strenuous activities such as sports or manual tasks, or coming into contact with chemicals and cleaning solutions. These best practices can help prevent damage and keep your piece safe and secure.
If you have any questions about our policy or need assistance with repairing your YSJEC CO. piece, please don’t hesitate to contact our after-sales service team.
At YSJEC CO., we stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of our jewelry. Our warranty is divided into two phases:
Phase One: 1 Year Unlimited
During the first year of ownership, all repairs are covered at no additional cost, excluding purposeful or excessive damage. Phase One begins on the day the purchaser receives the piece.
Phase Two: At Cost For Life
After the unlimited warranty expires, all repairs are covered at cost, excluding purposeful or excessive damage. This means that you pay exactly what it costs for the repair to be completed, with no additional fees. We never aim to make a profit from repairs. Phase Two begins after the first year of ownership.
Please note that any work done on YSJEC CO. pieces by outside jewelers will void the warranty. This is because most jewelers are not specialized in our settings or stones, and we cannot guarantee their workmanship. Our team is always here to help with any repair needs and are just an email away.
It’s important to note that our warranty is only valid for the original purchaser/owner of the piece. YSJEC CO. pieces purchased through a resale method do not come with a warranty attached to the new ownership parties.
If you have any further questions or concerns about our warranty policy, please feel free to reach out to our after-sales service team.
As each piece we create is completely custom and made to order, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges on these items. However, for Ready To Ship sample pieces, we offer a 3-day return or exchange policy as long as the item is in new and unworn condition. Please email us at [email protected] within 3 days of receiving your order to initiate the process. Please note that a 20% restocking fee will be applied to your refund and any resizing charges paid are not refundable. Items must be unused and in their original packaging. We reserve the right to refuse any exchange or return if we believe the items are intentionally damaged or misused.
To keep your jewelry piece in good condition, we recommend treating it with care and love. It is best to remove your piece during physical activities, showering, swimming, household cleaning, and sleeping. While water does not harm the stones or settings of our rings, shampoo, chemicals in pools, and saltwater can damage the alloys in your setting. We suggest following the “first on, last off” rule, which means that your jewelry should be the last thing you put on in the morning and the first thing you take off when you get home.
For an effective at-home cleaning, we recommend soaking your ring in warm water with Dawn dish soap. To remove any build-up, use a soft-bristled baby toothbrush, paying particular attention to the underside of your stone where grime tends to accumulate.
While you can use standard jewelry cleaner, we recommend using Dawn dish soap, warm water, and a soft-bristled toothbrush as it is a safe and effective option that doesn’t contain harsh chemicals. However, if you prefer to use a commercial jewelry cleaner, please make sure to read the label carefully and follow the instructions provided. Please note that some jewelry cleaners may contain harsh chemicals that could potentially damage your piece.
To request a repair, simply send an email to [email protected] and our team will provide you with the necessary paperwork to begin the repair process.
Yes, we offer one complimentary resize within one full size up or down from its original size. Please note that we do not recommend resizing more than two times as this can compromise the overall structural integrity of the ring. Full eternity bands and men’s pieces are unable to be resized. To request a resize, please email us at [email protected].
Repairs usually take 1-3 weeks, while resizing typically takes 1-2 weeks. However, the duration may vary depending on the extent of the damage or the resizing needed. If you have any questions or concerns regarding repair or resizing, please reach out to us at [email protected], and we’ll be happy to assist you.
